Some cardboard terrain for a change
I made these Middle Eastern-style dwellings a few years ago for the first CROM! scenario (Conan game by Matakishi). I used WorldWorksGames' SwiftScenics buildings as a base and heavily modified it to make the resulting models more complex and easier to collapse and unfold. The textures are all custom, of course.
Normally, the roofs are seperate and need a dummy structure underneath, hidden inside the building, to support figures on them. I stuck the roofs to the inner walls on one side so they fold flat, and on the other side of the roof are tabs that fits into slots on the opposite inner wall. It's probably not sturdy enough for more than one or two metal figures but plastic and cardboard is no problem.
I also made some add-on structures like these covered arches/awnings and stairs. They don't fold flat but they are quite small so no biggie
Here is a shot showing them ready for flat storage in an envelope or similar.
