Stunning, love the detail that is there. Colours of the roof shingles is tremendous.

Loving these - any chance we can see with figures in situ?

Great stuff! I love all the vegetation around the house, and even my wife thought the skewed chimney was a nice touch. Keep up the good work.

But you know what? I'm going to try to challenge you on the swamp house theme. I've just finished a GW laketown house and a scratchbuilt house, and I'm planning a swamp village around them. Your work is very inspiring and I'm going to see how much further I can take it.

Thanks gents! I'm glad it's useful!

Phil-I look forward to see what you do! If I was to do it again, I would use more natural elements to build it. Maybe small twigs and branches from the back garden to make the trees. And I'd also find something different for the canopy! Looking back I think I could do it better! :?

You should have some sort of official commendation for your work with restoring LAF to it's former glory.

I just don't like seeing one of my favourite places to visit on the web take a hit because of Photobucket! I like being able to browse people's old threads for help or inspiration. I just hope some of the stuff I've dug up again is some use to somebody!

In all honesty, it's nice going through some of my own threads just to see what I've built over the years. My poor old memory isn't what it used to be! o_o
