6mm Sci-Fi 40k, 30k and other bits - 15/12 Night Lord

Over the years I've amassed a pretty wide range of 6mm sci fi miniatures, generally based around the 40k themed universe. Ostensibly I was collecting with the aim of painting up a full epic scale army but, as time was to make increasingly clear, I frankly didn't have the patience or willpower to do it properly.

I've therefore decided to reduce the figure painting demands by having a go at getting things together for 6mm skirmishing, such as Shadow War and so on. Just to see if I could manage it I had a go at test painting a single 6mm Night Lord (sans hat based bat wings I'm afraid).



Yep, I know, a single 6mm figure to show.......... what can I say, I'm a slow worker!

He's an Exodus Wars Edenite Jump Trooper (sadly not in production anymore I believe - but please prove me wrong) who I think fits the bill rather well. Another 4 in the painting queue should provide the rest of the kill team.

I've also been cutting up a load of cork tile and foam-core to make some urban/hive tiles, which I'm hoping to get cracking on from Sunday.

I love him! 6mm stuff really floats my boat. Had the whole exodus wars line been discontinued now? I was always considering, but never quite took the plunge.

That is one crackingly well painted 6mm figure you've got there.

If you're looking for more Exodus Wars stuff, the line is now being sold by HLS models (lots of things out of stock and restock is on the slow side but it does happen on occasion)

Much appreciated Stroezie, your Nano-Munda project was a real inspiration and I hope I come up with something half as good!

Thanks for the Exodus Wars info, I’ll definitely keep my eyes on it for restocks. I’ve got a nice supply of the Onslaught and Troublemaker ranges, with a few packs you can get a pretty good variety of figures so I’m looking forward to throwing a Genestealer cult together!
