My first new minis in 21 years: Perry WotR infantry

Hi all

Some may remember this topic from a couple of months ago..

Well it took a while but the full 24 Perry 28mm infantry are finally finished. 12 x halberdiers/men at arms and 12 x archers.

While it took more effort than I remember, it does feel good to have got there 21 years after I gave up wargaming.

Now I've simply got a thirst for more (and to get better). Advice and constructive comments welcome.
FYI these involved; Black spray paint undercoat, mix of Vallejo and Citadel paints, 1p bases, filler, GW flock, a few bits of real rock/grit.

I like them. That's a really good start of an army.  As other have said, your skills will only get better from here.  The important thing is that you are happy with them.  if you are, then alls well with the world.

Cheers all hopefully I can keep going. I take the fact no-one has commented "whoa why on earth did you do that weird thing you've done there?" as a solid beginning because it really did feel like starting again for the first time.

Ha.  It may have felt like starting again for a first time, but those fellows look nothing like my first efforts (the less said about them, the better)!  That is a very handsome unit you have there.  What are you planning on next?
