Looking for Gael type models (Irish Celts)

I'm looking for Celt models for WAB, but I'm really looking for more of the Gael look.  I don't really want models with armor or tunics.  I found the following:

Wargames Factory Celt Warband
Warlord Celts
Old Glory Celts with Bare Chests (these are 25mm, I don't know if they'll work for me)

Does anyone know of other manufacturers of Celtic models that fit the Gael look?  Preferably in 28mm, in plastic, but I'll check out anything that's out there.

I need to check the army list to see how I work in spearmen.  If I can, then the next question would be how many of those naked spearmen could you rustle up and how much would you want for them?  You can send me a message or post here.  Either way is fine.

Or cavalry and I think they do chariots too.

The price must be about the same or even less than plastic with the huge advantage that they are not...er...Plastic

Scheltrum Miniatures are in the throes of producing a range of late medieval/early renaissance lowland and highland Scots in 28mm.  They are not up on their website but were shown at Salute.  Once I get some photos I will post them here.  There are lots of Islesmen in mail or padded coats and lots more highlanders wearing only their shirt with a variety of weapons, spears, swords, bows and axes.  I've already seen over fifty different figures and they have still to produce the double handed swords so there will be an astonishing variety available.

I'm not really sure what you mean by a 'Gael' look.

Do you mean they should look like early Irish figures? Maybe 4th-8th centuries? In which case you might look at Gripping Beast's dark ages ranges. Lots of bare legged types without armour. Irregular have some as well, which vary in qualiity from not-so-good to newer models about equal with Gripping Beast.

Most of the ancients ranges sold as Celts are Briton and Gaul types from the Caesarian era and backwards. Lots of helmets and trousers. with long shields. There's not much evidence that anyone in ancient Ireland looked like that at all.

If you want chariots (and understand that I am biased here) the new Wargames Factory chariots in plastic are a really good deal, both for cost and ease of assembly, even if you replace all the figures with more Irish-looking models.
