28mm guild signs for buildings?
« on: November 07, 2017, 05:02:15 PM »
With the exception of some pub signs from Thomarillion and a pack of guild signs from MBA, my searches are drawing a bit of a blank. As I'd prefer to buy rather than build, does anybody know of more companies with in production guild or similar signs suitable for use with 28mm buildings?

Ideally, I'm looking for ones made out of metal which don't require freehand painting as my talent for that is little better than for scratch building.

Thanks chaps. Struggling to find a picture of the Hovels signs on their site or elsewhere and because I’m looking from fretwork type signs, I think that the google option will be too fiddly for me.

The signs can be fairly ornate as you can see at http://www.electrummagazine.com/2012/10/medieval-guild-signs-and-emblem-traditions-zunftzeichen/

If I remember correctly, the tavern is square, Apothecary is a pestle & mortar, shoemaker a boot & blacksmith an anvil they all hang from a wrought iron style gallows bracket.
Hope this helps.

How about etched brass:

The name plates packs look useful and you may be able to get the necessary shapes out of the Roman Numerals orRunes packs?
