40k slann alternatives
« on: October 21, 2017, 01:32:46 PM »
I have been looking for alternative miniatures for 40k slanns so long that I decided to make an article on my blog http://huestesdearcana.blogspot.com.es/2017/10/40k-slann.html on all currently available alternatives. Please tell me if you know any I may have missed!

How about the Phroggs from Ral Partha Europe:

Not many of them but a good match for the old GW ones, I think.

Tim Prow/Diehard Miniatures did a Kickstarter for some "Eru Kin"  SF Aztec frogmen a while back:

SF sculpts are a way down the page.

Maybe contact him via Facebook to see if he's selling any?

You can also CHeck Katsina Miniatures who did the great Bizaza Kickstarter, they're the closest in scale and style you can find to original slann.

When Badger Miniatures ever get's it's stuff together they'll have some saurus and skink style figures with blasters and tribal/aztec clothes and standards.
Recreational Conflict: www.recreationalconflict.com

Jibbery style oinkery which don't make no damn sense.

Thanks for the links, although the members of another forum pointed those alternatives a bit earlier.

I know! I have already bought them a pack.

Problem is that I'm looking for slann, not lizardmen. They were originally different armies in WHFB (with lizardmen never appearing in 40k)

Gaspez Arts do a nice range of Slann for Blood Bowl, suitable with a little conversion work.
