I backed the Kung Fu KS and they are great minis! Not technically all that gorgeous, but fun and full of charm. This one, I'm going to pass on, but his next project is Hong Kong action themed a la John Woo, and I'll be all over it.
Cheap, fun, and a one man show delivering a cool product for a.few bucks. Maybe give it a try?

Looks like the only Frothers member around here is you, people are allowed an opinion, perhaps you had better go back over there.

Yes. And in polite company keep it to themselves. Unlike Frothers...

I quite like it a fun little piece. I don't think the paint job is selling it if I'm honest. Style wise It looks likes it would fit quite well with some of Midlam miniatures goblins and orcs.

I quite like this set.  The majority of my figures are "true 25/28mm" and a lot of them size nicely with the GW LOTR range so how would he fit with them?

Also I would like a dismounted (standing) king and the two females in the set so that I can run scenarios in his court or not on his palanquin.

It they are in the set and they fit the size of my figures then I'll buy the set.

Sorry to have to break it to you guys, but sold Un-painted.

That's as may be, but the paint job is part of selling me on backing the KS and it's failing to do that.  I'm sure a better paint job would make me more interested in the piece, although I'd probably dislike the rather mediocre cheesecake figs regardless of how well they were daubed.
