Whilst I wait on the appear of the next 'Nef I've managed to get all the Dystopian Legions figures put together and undercoated.

A fair lot to get painted but I'm looking forward to seeing the all finished.

This project hasn't seen a lot of love from me lately as I've allowed myself to be distracted with designing MDF scenery for other games but I've not forgotten it!!

Whilst the Aeronef side is plodding along I've had some thoughts on scenery and ordered a bundle of aquarium plants from China in the hope they would be good as Martian foliage.

I've also toyed with the idea of making some liftwood groves and have knocked up this as a concept idea for them.

What do you think?

My glacial progress on my VSF project has managed to get a crew finished for my British 'Nefs.

Great figures to paint!

I've also started some deck guns.

The first Empire of the Blazing Sun flyer is complete! Huzzah!

I'm pleased with how it's turned out and how much deck space there is.

Happy with the murder holes as well!

Looked at the images, and harsh language proceeded from my mouth.

Hope you're happy.

I've allowed myself to get distracted by non VSF projects lately but this hasn't been forgotten!

I don't have a Martian gaming mat and balked at spending a lot for the albeit lovely mats currently available. So I've gotten a nice big sheet of tan/brown felt with the intention of doing my own but I just need to work out how to paint it.

I've done a few testers with varying success and shall do a few more before I commit.

Next up....some more Aeronef!

The second one for The Oriental faction.

And some that will be used for the Covenant of Antarctica.
