Painted Trollforged Alien Host Stealth Warriors (11/10)
« on: November 06, 2017, 04:10:06 PM »
Starting in on painting another big batch of Trollforged's Alien Host kickstarter figs, this time with an adult Sky Hunter on 45mm base, three larval young on 30mm bases, and an egg cluster/nest on a 60mm base.

The big guy's a seven piece model - body, head, two wings, and three small tentacle bits.

Everything fits together pretty well, although it's a bit of a chore getting the tentacles in place.

Didn't care for the concept art on these much, but the physical model is more appealing (and much larger) than I expected.

The eggs are separate pieces, I've just clustered them on one base here for effect.

The worms come in a bunch of different poses and have multiple head variants, although I've stuck to the same style here for consistency.

And here's a scale shot with a hapless Vor rad-trooper.

"Still better than fighting Growlers, comrades."

Pretty damn cool
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Thanks!  Another set, this time an Alien Queen and another egg cluster:

Again, pretty huge beastie.

Seven pieces in the Queen kit.

Thanks!  Another batch, five Stealth Warriors and another egg cluster, this one with the KS exclusive giant egg/pod/thing.

These guys are pretty big, standing about 8-9' tall and based on 45mm rounds.
