T35 (15mm)
« on: November 14, 2017, 02:47:06 AM »
I built and painted this mainly to test a new Vallejo colour to represent 4BO Protective Green, and I'm pretty pleased with the result.

I already have more T35s finished than I really need — I bought five of them from PSC as a "squadron" deal, and there are still two left in their boxes. In fact, T35s worked in units of two.

Nice work. It is not really a tank that I need, but it does have that 'I want one' quality. The tracks have come out nicely, I am increasingly charmed by the Zvezda 1/100 range, that their track simplification is a non-issue for me now.

The green looks good to me - what colour did you settle on?

The base colour is Vallejo ModelAir 70.010 Interior Green

Thanks for the colour reference. I do have some Vallejo Air greens - I'll have a dig.

The painting is top notch.  Unfortunately, the 76.2mm looks odd - maybe it's a little high up?

Excellent painting. Iconic tank as well, pretty much useless but you've got to have some.
