I've finally got around to adding the all important pike to my Spanish Force and here they are in all their glory.

and with some manga's

and this is how they'd be laid out for Pikeman's Lament and then Sharply Buffed.

More blethering and pics on the blog

Cheers

Are they a mix of Gamezone, Foundry and GW stuff?

Really nice use of figures. Personally, I'm a big fan of those Pirazzo's Lost Legion figures from GW which you've used. Pity they're now so expensive on Ebay (although they were probably pretty expensive when bought new from GW, come to think of it).

Luverly stuff!

My Spanish are the same mix of figures. Unfortunately, I have only been working on them for close to ten years, so probably another two or three before they are on the table.

I hope they come out as nice as yours when they eventually get there.

Very nice work! They look absolutely superb.

Are those the out of the box pikes, or did you replace them with wire?

Nope, those are the pikes they come with. The Gamezone ones are shorter but are holding them further up the shaft so it balances out pretty well.
