28mm Armoured Train availability in U.K?
« on: November 20, 2017, 06:50:32 PM »
Hi,
Can anyone tell me which companies,if any, sell 28mm scale armoured trains for the interwar period, in the UK? I know Sarissa do their version and Wargames command post used to sell the Company B trains. If I remember, the Company B ones were quite pricey.
Any help much appreciated.

Not an answer to a good question, more an expression of fellow feeling as I think you have analysed the situation accurately. Put another way, I want want too!

I think the Sarissa model is for WW2  and the WCP business has either stopped already or is in the process of winding down for retirement, so the UK options appear non-existent. I am steeling myself for the cost of buying a Company B set direct from the USA, but haven't quite plucked up the courage yet.

Is there really no enterprising retailer willing to lay in a few of these from the US?

Thanks, but they don't seem to have the trains on their website.
