A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away......
« on: November 30, 2017, 11:40:07 AM »
We played a very lovely and fun game of Star Wars 7TV last night - using the big Kenner Star Wars figures.

You can see all the lovely pictures and after action report on the blog here:

Looks great!

I like your bases for the figs, and the custom terrain.

Thanks for sharing your photos and battle report.

I bought a couple of them for a mega Battle of Hoth setting some years ago, but it's so friking BIG that we've used the WOTC models instead!  lol

As far as I can tell, the WotC minis would work very well with the large AT-ATs, that are about 24, or more inches tall.

Throw in some diecast Snow Speeders for them to stomp on, and you've got a great looking game.

Need to do some SW skirmishes, in any scale, just for grins.

What rules are you all using for your games?

They work almost perfectly scale-wise with Kenner/Hasbro AT-ATs (see the picture from "Ep V -TESB"), but those HUGE vehicles take a lot of space in the table!  :D   WOTC's AT-ATs are smaller but nice in games terms IMHO!

What rules are you all using for your games?

House rules, of course! All commercial rulesets are full of shit! lol
