Amazing paintjob, love the battery(?) he's put his foot on. Great dynamic.

Thanks folks, to be honest I am also very happy with the rugged, beaten and radiation burned face.

Really great sculpt, I a still unsure if I like van Saar better than Goliath.

Van Saar are always better :D. Nice paint job on the model. I like how the blue cabling looks.

While I love my Van Saar this edition Goliath are my favourite (and I was always an Escher man)

I treated myself with another commission of painted minis by Ana Polanšćak.
:)

Deacon Malakev, Klovis the Redeemer and a nameless Follower - the follower is painted by me, all other minis are done by Ana! I just gave her an overall idea of the paint scheme and provided the sample mini (Black Crab Necropolis Scum) as a colour reference, the rest of the magic is all hers.

great painting by the pair of you.

been looking at this game recently - ulitmately just too nihilistic and grimdark for me I think, particularly these days, and my impression is that if you don't immerse yourself in the lore, there's no real point in pursuing the game.
I get the very crunchy movement and combat rules, and like those aspects, but the rpg-lite / narrative side is really supplied by immersion in the Lore / fluff itself (so it seems to me); the mechanics for that side of things are perfunctory?

figures-wise, maybe the Escher are meant to be freakishly amazonian as far as height goes?
what I don't really get is why the Van Saar (and to a degree, the Orlocks) seem to be dwarfs? Maybe that is discussed in the b/ground I suppose.
The Delaque are very tall too - and while that kind of goes with a Nosferatu vibe, and the different heights do sort of hang together (I have sample figures from most gangs), it still seems unnecessarily inconsistent.
