The figures are nice I like the dark palette and shorter hair. To me it makes them more menacing.

These look great. I painted my first Goliath ‘test’ last night in the stock scheme and he looks embarrassing in comparison  lol

Finished my Leader (or Champion):

Since I wanted him to stand out a bit, he received shoulderpads and a breather that still shows his face.
I also kept the steel Mohawk.

And a group shot of the gang so far:

I will now start on my Escher!

and as always more on my site: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/necromunda.html

cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

Brilliant!
There is a really great vibe given out by the gang.
You have made the slightly absurd look believable.
 :-* 8) :-*

Question for everyone reading this: Is there a picture of one of these fellas next to an original 90's Goliath anywhere to be found? I really am curious to know just how big they are.

I like the skin, what do you use? They look underworld and crazy.

I like the skinniness, what do you use? They look underworld and crazy.
I used MSP "Rosy Skin" (but any light skin colour will do), then GW Flesh shade.
Then Rosy Skin and two or three layers with more and more white mixed in.

Beautiful models Agis! I've never been a fan of this kind of sculpts, but your opaque and "mild" tones really make them far more believable!

Funny, I thought it is a grey-tone.

Cheers, Agis.
 :)

Funny how the new G's are a fair bit bigger but look more 'reasonably' proportioned in the muscle tone.
I say 'reasonably' in a GW sense, of course, as the older versions look more 'pumped up', whereas the new versions seem more in size with an older Marine.

.... whereas the new versions seem more in size with an older Marine.

I am very wrong with that, they are even bigger!
I asked a friend of mine who has just picked up the game to take a shot with an older figure and a 'standard' Marine.....

Distracted by Star Wars I only finished 1 Escher:

Nice sculpt but IMO not as good as the Goliath.
Way too big and showing the usual GW sculpting flaws, feet and hands are too big, cartoonish proportions,
the Goliath physiques can be justified with the uncontrolled drug abuse, but way are the Escher as tall as a Space Marine?

Really strange since I liked the Escher minis more when they 1st popped up on the Net.
