I was a 'Rest of the World' taker but I guessed incorrectly  :(

Shame, as I got a set of SMF rules Lulu printed so the pdf would have been very welcome.  All I needed was to have been first to post. With the right answer. That's all!

 lol

Hey, send me a PM and we'll talk!  :D

I have a Lulu printed copy and they're well worth it. You should definitely give them a go.

The only name I could remember from the Legion was Matter-Eater Lad.  lol

Given the number of Legionnaires in various continuities over the years (see here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Legion_of_Super-Heroes_members ) you could use practically any word in the English language, follow it up with Lad, Lass, or Girl, and have a decent chance of getting a match by accident.  I mean, Fred Hembeck did an entire cartoon strip about being trampled a by stampede of ALL the current Legion members decades ago, and the list was shorter then.  Pretty the cartoonist's worst nightmare, having to draw the full roster in one issue.

That, or getting assigned to the Jack of Hearts comic over in Marvel land.  :)

I got the rules in the mail (thanks!!!!) so set-up a solo game to try them out.
I'm impressed.  Fast, fun, they give the right feel.
I'm really looking forward to some more games!

I have a brief report of my first game here, if interested.

I am not sure what's cooler, you're amazing battle report, or your inspired character creation / names.

Lord Gourd? Just when I thought all of the good names were taken, wham!

Incredible work!

Good use of Dreamblade figs there.  Underappreciated range of figs, those.
