The base should follow the same rules for the design as regards commercial parts.
The rules state: The spirit (which the rules http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=106236.0 advise should be followed) is for a new build, however continuing an old project - at least as long as the bulk of the work is new - should be ok as in this case the truck is new, and is the focus of the project - if the truck were an element on a busy base and the focus were the base it would be less ideal for the BSC. To stick to the above-quoted line from the rules, the old project (or part of, in this case) should not have been shown online before - or at least not shown in a recognizable state; and definitely not shown painted and complete.

I appreciate the rules could have been more specific, so that's my fault, and will recommend correcting this for next year.

Thanks, that clarifies it for me. I want to build another section of the roads I have already done, so will just do that instead - mostly because it has been so many years since I built the roads I honestly can't remember what I put online or didn't.

And I'm out too - unfortunately it's just a lack of being unmotivated this time 'round. That, and the standard's pretty high this year (more so than usual!).
