40K Blood Ravens - where to start?

Not posted for quite some time.

40K has somehow passed me by, until now.

I  have an option on a painted Blood Raven army.

What should I be looking for in it?

You mean troops types / army compostion or whether it's been painted correctly? Or price?

Fluff-wise I think they adhere quite strictly to the Codex Astartes, but have a substantialy high number of Psykers.

A core off tactical squads and librarian HQ choices should give you a basis that suits the fluff and is solid on the tabletop.

Recently finished reading a Blood Raven Novel, and the above is bang on! High proportion of psykers, chapter has limited numbers and is fleet based.

I think they used to have an option for Librarian sergeants when they had a WD article a long while back

As I mentioned, I'm new to 40K.

Have acquired a Tactical Marine heavy army; 8 x 10 units, plus  a unit each of Assault Marines, Devastators, Terminators and a Dreadnought.

It's light on armour and characters - i have a Rhino and a Predator.

I intend adding a couple of Librarians, one as *use as* "Tiggy" from the Ultra Marine Codex as I want the theme of this Army to be Psyker heavy, for better or worse.

With that in mind, any more suggestions to tailor the list?
