This is coming along nicely! I really like the engines. Seeing multiple copies of an engine nacelle in a post I didn't start is a nice change! I'm also impressed by the fact that it's mostly made of card. I can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks again.

Pogress on lots of small sections so didn't take too many pics. The super structure is complete now so detailing, detailing, detailing.

Parts for the rear landing gear

Forward landing gear in progress as well as the cargo container cradles.

More and better pics soon.

Great stuff!

Did you ever get your ship from last year finished? I don’t remember seeing any pictures! :?

Shame on me!  :'( :'( :'(  No. Here it is beside my work bench, taunting me, every, single, bloody, day. Acting like it's been abandoned on Jakku.

Just need a couple of weeks to finish it off, that and the quad jumper in the bin also. All the parts are there, finished and waiting to be assembled except for the quad guns and antennae. Was waiting for some magnets and then got distracted. Plan is to rescue as many as possible of these unfinished projects this year.

More work on the forward landing gear and the bulking out of the cargo cradle.

Here the Overcat is lending a helping paw.

And cleaned up my desk a bit yesterday as it was getting impossible to work on it and could now take this shot:

And a better view of the engine pod. Ship comes apart in three pieces for storage and possibly to model as a wreck (still thinking about this).

Back to detailing

That’s brilliant! I was always dying to see the Sparrow(?) finished!

That would be a great shot for your final picture if you could manage it.....The Sparrow being chased by the blockade runner behind it. Use a big black sheet for a backdrop! Something like this scene from Empire Strikes Back...

....or...
