Hi All

I am looking for OOBs and wargame adaptations for the major battles of the Second Punic Wars....does anyone have any or links to blogs/site where I could find them?

Thanks

There used to be a Wargamer's guide to the second Punic war, I think it was published by Bellona.
it would be a case of trying e-bay, as I do not think it is still in print. I lent my copy to someone
decades ago, never got it back.

It was Donald Featherstones Battles of the Punic Wars published by Bellona.

Duncan Head - Armies and Enemies of the Macedonian and Punic Wars is a great resource.
For rules, I can recommend 'To the Strongest' and 'Sword & Spear'

Warhammer Ancient Battles had a supplement called Hannibal and the Punic Wars which is out of print now, however I see it is for sale on eBay for a reasonable price.
You may not use these rules but like a lot of the WAB supplements it was a goldmine of information and also showed you how to fight some of the battles on the tabletop.

Just a reminder, no links to mirror sites or anything violating copyrights, please. If it’s OOP, it doesn’t become public domain immediatedly. Such 'contributions' will be removed without further notice. Thanks.

John Warry gives fairly detailed breakdowns, with AAR and maps.

Hannibal ad Portas by Glenn Pruitt gives scenarios for 10 battles from the 2nd Punic War. While designed for \Piquet: Archon, it can easily be adapted to other rules. Available as a pdf for a mere $6 from:

I love this little book!
