MachinaMandala's Fantasy Log
« on: January 11, 2018, 09:32:08 PM »
I recently got some (pretty busted) minotaurs off a friend and set to work fixing them up:

Unbusted ones first:

Apparently an old Heartbreaker Magic the Gathering Minotaur who had his weapon head missing (quickly got replaced from the bitz box):

And the piece de la resistance, a minotaur(?) body missing its head and its weapon:

I think I did a reasonable job on fixing these but I was wondering if there were any criticisms before I started priming / painting? I'm going to have the MtG minotaur as an actual minotaur but the others will probably be Gloranthan bull-broos.

I'm mostly just happy to get back into the hobby again.

They look good!

That last one's a 1988 Citadel minotaur that originally held a cleaver:

I think the smaller head works well and looks particularly broo-like. You could add a bit of a greenstuff mane/rattail at the back to cover the join, but I think it'll look fine in any case. Great work on the sword conversion!
