After twenty years in a box, I painted my Ratskins over the last couple of months.
I had specific ideas of how I wanted them to look, the various themes and tropes that I wanted them to touch on. By and large I hit them.
Rather than rewrite that stuff here
I will direct you to the blog post instead.
I also used the opportunity to add a couple of old Confrontation (the Necromunda precursor) models to the project.
Adding the Confrontation figures also gave me two distinct figures to use as "Skinwalkers" in games of Dracula's America (in Spaaace). Skinwalkers need alternate beast forms and when I saw that Reaper made such fun Weird West figures I added these two goofballs.
Lastly, as I was painting some furry models, I added a few more to simply get them done. Some of you might recognise the old Citadel Night Horror Werewolf that got bumped up the queue so that I could post it at Halloween.
And that's it for now. I have a few more models to add to the group, but they are garnish rather than requirements really.
As I mentioned above, there is more detail about the palette and the other decisions made to get the project finished
in the blog post, if you have any queries.
Thanks for looking!
