Real nice paint job.

One question for you... how long are the models?

Wondered the same thing. As a 'medium', I'm assuming between two and three inches. At four or more, I'd have some real interest in bashing to a larger scale. *sigh*

Yeah, I meant to add some measurements to the review but forgot...twice. It's overall dimensions are 72mm long x 18mm wide x 21mm tall. These are all to it's longest points of course. That makes it just under 3" long.

I have a few of Brigade Models smallest class aeroneffs and they're about 2" long if I remember right, which I guess means this doesn't quite equal a cruiser in naval terms.

I'm going to update the blog with the dimensions and a pic of the rough area as soon as I finish this.

There are a few scale cues; the door behind the turret under the bridge, the hatch and stair case on top of the bridge, and a few doors and portholes on the side. You can probably convert it to a small patrol craft or gunboat for 6mm with minimal conversion and putty work.

Oh course minimal is subjective I suppose. :)

Oh, I guess if anyone has interest in the dimensions of the Federated States Valley and Lee Class zepplins, and the Prussian Pflicht zepplin I've got them on my desk waiting in line for more review/showoffs. Just let me know.

This would be a great opportunity to expand the Scale-O-Matic page with some flying ships!

If you do have any comparison photos, let me know and I will gladly add them to the thread.

Thanks for the response, mate.

I've never actually seen these minis so I have no idea what their dimensions are and they don't even mention them on the Spartan web site.

Sorry to hijack the thread... As I said before, the minis look great.  :)

Ditto, though if anything, you can take as compliment how it got our interest up.

Oh, you must have seen my post mention hands filled with only opposable digits.

I'm more of the 'that doesn't fit, so I just don't see it' school.

If these were, say, twice as long, I'd be trying to shoehorn 15mm in.  :D

Mayhaps an upper torso sticking out the bridge area. However, sounds like my guess was very close to right. So seldom an occurrence, the disappointment is totally mitigated by the shock.

The largest ones are almost twice as long, but for the most part they are very obviously supposed to be much larger vessels. It would be interesting to see models of this detail and design quality in 15mm.
