The latest Midlam Miniatures Kickstarter has come up trumps:

I'm really looking forward to these.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Nice.
Would it be possible to see some size comparison pics next other brands?

Going by the info on the KS, the figures are 26-28mm head to foot so I think the squares on the mat are at the standard spacing of 10mm.

They're not very big; similar in size to the old Copplestone halflings. I'll take a pic later.

Right, here we are. My collection's a bit old school, so my apologies if the comparison figures aren't as informative as I'd like. To the left of Deadnettle the gnome is a Grenadier halfling, and to the right a pair of old Ral Partha dwarves.

The figure of 26-28mm includes their tall gnomish caps; Deadnettle is one of the taller gnomes and he measures 18.5mm precisely from the soles of his boots to his eye level.
