If he keeps buying them for me then in a couple more years I'll have enough to weld together to make a super-villain robo-suit.

I don't really do new years resolutions but my gaming resolutions for 2018 are:

1) No new games/ranges/projects
2) finish my outstanding armies/projects (or at least make good headway)
3) Play more games!

All being well I'm buying a new house soon so my hobby requirements are second only to my daughter's requirements in terms of space!

Not so much New Years Resolutions from me, more some end of year, project nearing completion musings on what to do next.
Bit more in depth on my blog entry New Project Musings

1. Sell some stuff.
2. Focus more on skirmish games, they dont take anywhere near as much effort.

My New years resolution is to only buy second hand painted stuff (unless it is a small quantity of un-painted for a specific project  ::)).

Oh no where's the fun in that  :(
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Mine are to stop my Chinese warlord army from getting any bigger (the same resolution as last year oddly enough)
and play more games, that being helped by finding a gaming group in a very unlikely place and only half an hour away (Opotiki for those who know)

1. Finish my Painting WW2 Germans book - actually I should have finished and handed in the manuscript by Christmas but still getting the last details right.

4. Start book 2 - maybe....

I would love to see both of the above accomplished! At the same time I know how tedious it can be to finish off a book for printing from what you thought to be a finished manuscript. So good luck with it, I‘m looking forward to the finished product.

Finish my RCW - 2/3 commission 1/3 me
Finish TWD:AOW - 100% me
Start and finish Christmas themed game for next December -100% me
Finish Korean War Chinese -100% me - unless i can finagle some magic
Buy a few more Spectre  modern miniatures (>20)

Buy NOTHING else.

Well, this resolution is already a bust. lol lol
I'm going (or at least try super duper hard)to finish my wild west project which has languished for years. Then tackle above the above list. Probably put Spectre on hold. And RCW commissions to reduce figures bought.
Work on the Oathmark figues.
Go through other projects and purge.

Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...
