This mission was fun and useful: it helped us smooth some of the A.I. rules for on-table Hostiles. My goal is to have the table, the Zone itself if you will, be a player in its own right with Hot Spots and Spawning Points generating enemies who function according to simple but solid parameters. We're getting there.

I'd find it difficult not considering The Zone to be a player.  No matter which fiction/media portrayal one subscribes to, The Zone has always struck me a s a "living" entity of sorts.

Exactly. The Zone acts and reacts to intruders and does not yield her prizes easily.

I want the AI to be as smooth and clear as possible. No clunk, no math, no charts or chit stacks, able to support Solo play.
