Militia Scouts
« on: February 01, 2018, 09:35:50 AM »
I've been sticking to the routine of finishing off one piece a day. This is the latest.

A Militia Officer rides ahead to meets with his advance scouts.
Figures painted by John Bryant.
The two mounted figures are conversions of Perry or Foundry AWI riders. I replaced the heads with KMM heads and the arms with plastic arms from either Perry or WGF AWI kits. The standing figures also have replaced heads from KMM. The horses are EBOB's. I did all the basing and terrain work.

I really enjoy making these and hope to finish them all by the end of February. I still have 12-15 more to finish.

Very nice looking vignette and should prove useful on the table . Ain’t it strange how addictive it becomes when you start converting figures . Well done .

Great story telling there. I love the two guys with their heads to the ground tracking.

Beautiful vignette, a nice addition to your collection!
