Completed some more road sections (I now have 4 of 300mm x 75mm) but I have quite a few more to do.

Next step is assembly of more buildings and LPL entries 7-10.

My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2024 = 32
(2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Excellent road sections.
I am really impressed with what you are doing with Victorian London, it is an extremely evocative setting you are creating.
Jealous!

Re: Whitechapel Horror! UD 29/10 - a taster of more buildings

Thanks folks.  :D

Today’s update is a taster of the next sets of buildings that I’m in the throes of assembling.

These add a tile with shop and double-width pub with its own yard, plus  facades of a warehouse/factory to provide playable height at one end of the boards.

EDIT

The roofs of the pub and shop remove with the first floor levels having shelves to place minis in front of the windows

Thanks chaps  :D

Though to be fair the buildings from OSHIROmodelterrain are a great resource to work with. ;)

I’m using them in a slightly different way to intended, as they are designed as free standing units with each level removable for access. They work very well like that but as can be seen I’m fixing them to tiles, which means I get less flexibility in changing the layout about but can go to town on the atmosphere.

One small change I’ve made is to glue the different levels together but to have the first floor shelves rather than a full floor. Also, as the buildings will be fixed, I’ve modified the roof locking system so they are easy to lift off but won’t move when in position.

In addition to the above, I have a couple of residential terrace tiles next, then I want to add a graveyard and another commercial tile but with shop, a second pub and a police station.

This really is looking impressive already. Really liking the low relief buildings.
