I’ve started fitting out the second residential tile, which also includes the grocers shop. I’ve pictured it here with its adjacent tiles.

The shop has a hip roof.

The grocers with its accommodation above.

Looking along the centre of the two residential tiles, though walls with archways have yet to be added that will split them in the middle into two distinct courtyards each with their own water pump.

Sort of like this:

The cemetery entrance, though this position will actually be occupied by a facade of Georgian houses that will be home to the local doctor and to the brothel.

You’re most welcome (though one of the reasons for the WIP posts is as a reminder for me!  :D)

 :D

The table has an area which I’m not sure about. It’s the hard-packed yard behind the larger pub - the sandy area in the photo - that I’m feeling looks just a bit too empty.

Any thoughts on what I might put in there? I’d originally imagined a wooden store, then settled for kegs and crates, but now I’m unsure.

If necessary I can cut through the wall for a gated entrance.

Thanks

Excellent suggestions thank you.

I already have a slaughterhouse but it just so happens that I was pondering something carpentry related so a carpenters and joiners workshop (crates, coffins, chair legs for stakes, etc) is what it’ll be - with access off the cobbled area.  8)

I knew a guy who was a joiner and I mistakenly called him a carpenter. He wasn’t happy  :o :D

Is there enough room for a small farrier?
Or sail cloth seller, or cabinet makers, Coachworks, or a funeral directors (not sure if you already have one).

Pubs from the era might have a stable for horses, and probably a yard dog,Border Collie  ;) ,though my preference would be a Bull Terrier cross( though my girl is an inside dog :D

Thanks chaps that’s all great help. There’s potential for a lot of the city to be built so it’s great to have the options.  8)
