This is great to see this project on the table, really looks very smart and appealing.

Do you have any close up pics of your Italian infantry, the ones that use the Perry 1450-1500 metals? The 'heavy infantry' with poleaxes, plus the metal handgunners and crossbowmen. I'd love to take a closer look, as I've go those ones myself and am puzzling over how best to do them as a unit.

Sadly I have none of the figures you mention in the post, Phil has more Perry Miniatures. On an unrelated note I have two more early Landsknecht pike blocks from TAG in the Lead Pimple and a further Command Stand of two figures from Bicorne. I got a great bargain at Penkridge Table Top Sale last Sunday, a number of Ian Weekly Battleground hard foam tent and marquees for £10. I’m busy rebasing and repainting these at the mo.

Nice looking camp scene?  What's cooking in the pot?
Been playing with toy soldiers since the mid 70s.  Not planning to grow up any time soon.

Love the Camp.  Is that a re-purposed TAG not-Blackadder in the background ?

Thanks! Of course you are right, it is the TAG set of three Black Adder- like figures. I got a free Henry VIII with them but can’t think how to repurpose him yet.

Sorry for not commenting lately, I've had a rather trying few months, health-wise. But I am right glad to see this project is still moving forward.

Great efforts - not Baldric looks particularly good.  You can tell it's Baldric because he appears to have lit the fire in the cooking pot rather than under it.  Shouldn't the smoke be coming from below the pot rather than from the pot itself?
