Oh yes! I've been thinking of CADing up a cloakshape for my 6mm scenery as well, its a very strong look without drawing on existing star wars designs too much.

Only just discovered this thread - and only half way through it so far!  Lots of cool inspiration.

But nothing I saw on the website for 15 mm Star Wars stuff - or did I miss it?  Well on my way to a substantial 15 mm Star Wars setup.  It all started with my wife wanting to take our niece to Disneyland.  Then there were these affordable, painted mostly metal models of AT-AT and Millennium Falcon and, uh-oh.

Back later for the other half of the thread.

edit: And back this morning to finish the thread (well, the pictures more than the text).  So much goodness.  Alas, I had a dastardly thought on that gigantenormousspectacular AT-AT thing-a-ma-jig: 350 hours of build time, plus cost of the materials, in one game, seen by nut who offered a vast some of funds for it, temptation too strong and sold on, buyer played one game with it, too, and then it sits on shelf for twenty odd years, meantime you have to build another one to replace the sold one.  Rinse and repeat.

Less dastardly, I did see someone comment on using some of your sci-fi bits for 15 mm so I guess I'll have to take another look around the store.  Of course, there are other suppliers for stuff in 15 mm - too much stuff that there is a nasty dent in my wallet already.

On the mend but it’s taking a while  ::)

I did get a few figures painted for this. Stargrave plastics, quite shallow detail but simple to paint which is a bonus.

They’re easy enough to be able to have a XR force and not worry too much about them.

or did I miss it?

No.

Thanks  :)

I’ve finished off the panelling for the main body of the Cloakshape fighter. The wings are drawn and I’ll hopefully get them cut out soon (doing them out of lasered acrylic as it’ll be stronger than styrene).

Still debating on how to do the cockpit.

That looks brilliant! I enjoy seeing the WIP pics as you add the surface details, kind of like seeing how the magic trick are done. I’m very much looking forward to seeing how this build progresses.
