15mm Emir of Bukhara

So, I was bored and in need of a project.  I had one of Xyston's Antigonas figures laying around and figured, "Hey, I think I can convert him to look like the Emir." 

I intend to base him as a multi-era commander...not sure what to surround him with on the base.  I don't want to use him on the palanquin I don't think, so I need ideas. Thank you in advance.

I like that idea.  Whole tent or just cut one in half and have it as a façade so the base can be smaller???
