I like the miniature, even though I do see what you mean with squirrel. I think it is really hard to decide what a werewolf shoul look like. Most models look more like a centauer with a wolf's head - more man than wolf. It's hard to model something that runs on all four paws into a two legged version. Even in movies they often look very ... hm... well, almost funny (and that's saying a lot for me, as I really don't have much stomach for horror movies).
