That trebuchet is a serious bit if kit! It looks great and that witch is already extremely sinister.

Sorry mate  lol

Love the paint job, and the base really suits it...it’s a beast of a model.

Nice work on the witch as well...I must check out those texture plates...funnily enough, was on their website this week, but I sense another visit in the near future

Cheers pal. I think another one will have to follow at some point.

The texture plates are easy to use *once you get the hang of them*. You do need to let the GS cure for an hour or so first, otherwise it just stretches and deforms when you pull it off the plate.

Cheers :)

Few more WIPs:

And here's where the witch is now:

I somehow missed the last update...tha witch is looking really sinister...can’t wait to see it painted.

I also really like the latest bunch of kitbashes... can I ask though where is the toros from on the one second from the left? It looks like the not-Lannister’s that FF designed, but I thought they hadn’t been released yet?  :?

More great stuff. Can't wait to see paint added. Where do you get your backdrops?

Really nice builds. Are those some fireforge undead bodies on two of the warriors?

Nice work on those conversions.

I have to echo the questions on the figure source.

Thanks mate. Glad you like em! You're bang on, it's from the Living Dead Soldiers kit from Fireforge. They're surprisingly easy to turn into battle-worn living bodies - just gotta reposition the feet and cover up one or two wounds with a little putty.

More great stuff. Can't wait to see paint added. Where do you get your backdrops?

Cheers beefcake - they're mostly from across the webs, Google searches etc. I try to give credit where I can find it which isn't often - if someone does recognise one of the backdrops please let me know.

Cheers mate, yep they are! Just ordered a box more of them for that reason...

Thanks! :) As above - Fireforge Living Dead.

Couple more additions...

Finished some bespoke status effect tokens, with activation markers for my two main warbands (knights/undead). I'm making these for Vanguard, but quite keen to do some special Rangers of Shadow Deep-only tokens, and as Rangers is such a 'visual' game it's nice to have the added bespoke quality. Plus I think these three (activated, wounded, fatigued, braced) could be used in RoSD for existing effects?

Check out Scruffy Crow's series on Oathmark tokens if you want to learn how to make similar counters - he did a fantastic tutorial on Youtube that gave me a lot of inspiration.

And now for something completely different...

That is different - though just as nicely painted.  Is the game map about to expand in a more temperate southerly direction?

Possibly, still figuring out where I want it to go! Definitely a Vanguard warband for now, and maybe 'just' that but we'll see.

Finished the counters - full credit for the artwork goes to Paul of Overhype Studios (Battle Brothers fame), who created these as status effect icons in the titular game:

You are such a gifted artist, in so many different aspects of the hobby. You really should have your own game company.

The counters look really smart, and I like the new faction - nice use of the new Frostgrave bodies

Cheers chaps. I currently help make rules for the Mantic Rules Committee on Vanguard, which might be a step in that direction I guess...we'll see.

Another quick completion - a reskin of the Mantic Ice Elemental for sandier climes! Inspired by the Battle Brothers game, I thought my middle Eastern warband could benefit from supernatural aid in the form of an Ifrit, a sand demon.
