Thanks a lot, guys :)

I've been messing around with 10mm a bit more, but no pics yet - in the meantime I've also assembled the last of the Spanish heavy infantry, who will serve in the Order's ranks. I'm looking to do a short tutorial with these guys on the weathering I do for the shields as a couple of people asked about it. I am not the most technical painter in the world, and there are certainly better techniques out there but hopefully it'll be of use to some. Aiming to have it written probably some time over Easter.

Also threw together the last of my Fireforge Northmen, with Fireforge Byzantine heads to make a kind of eastern-looking heavy spear infantry unit:

Always a pleasure to read a few pages of this thread. Your work is absolutely stunning. That last cavalry unit just bursts with kinetic energy.

I mostly just read the updates, but I must say there is some fantastic work going on here.

Well done.

Those printed shields are very unique and nice.  They work well with the models.

Thanks a bunch, guys. Really appreciate it.

They're actually bought direct from Fireforge, but as is pretty clear Fireforge must have 3D printed them. Big print lines...

_______

How's this for an Oathmark? :P

and before I forget - the latest in Chapterhouse Guard veterans, courtesy of the Fireforge Spanish Heavy Infantry kit (plus a LOT of hot-water reposing, converting, and kitbashing with other kits):

Oathmark looks great mate, really must make something like that myself. The spanish look fab as well, which must have taken some serious effort indeed.
