Mesh' Battletech Adventures
« on: August 12, 2024, 11:20:27 AM »
Like quite a few here it seems I've had an on and off relationship with Battlech. I first got into contact with the universe by reading all the novels that were available in the 90ies. In the 2000s Battletech became the first tabletop I played until worklife interfered. I still have a sizeable metal collection from back then, quite a bit of them in variable stages of being stripped. However when i came back i was quite happy to see the new plastics. Now there are drawbacks to it as well but I really like the way the scaling works nowadays and generally the quality seems to be a bit more consistent and better than the metals.

First picture shows a really old resin hangar from like 2000 or so, no idea who manufactured it. Comes with a detachable gate. I've so far painted my units as Lindons and Comstar (with slight artistic license of adding a bit of gold akzents). Next on the table are some clan mechs and I'm still waiting for my Mercs Kickstarter.

Very nice! I especially like the Lindons; great colour combo, that :)

And the more BT, the better; it's such a rich universe...  8)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Very nice!  Glad to see another old school merc unit that gets so little love, like Lindon's Battalion.
On time, on target, or the next one's free
