War of Jenkins' Ear Bavarian kettledrummers (dismounted, obviously).

Yes, an entire box of them.

No, I haven't been drinking.
No plan survives first contact with the dice.

Funny, 'bicycling Bavarian oompah band' was a phrase I and my writing-partner used as a catch-all for outlandish and improbable units in the Interwar era. Bavariaphobia is rife it seems.

They play very often with Mr. Aly, so I think they talked about it.  ;)

In Napoleonics - a box of Mamelouk or Ottoman horse for Egypt would be a great boost, make perfect sense - you need so many of them - would be so useful for all sorts of things and be the best news since your parents told you that the blonde with the big bazookas was the new baby-sitter....

But then - I am obsessed - and by the Ottomans not the blonde with the...

One can always dream...

A box of animals, no two boxes.
1) Africa. Elephant, giraffe, hippo etc. Very popular for all the colonial games now out there.
2) Europe. Cows, sheep, pigs, wolves etc. Useful for ECW (possibly earlier) through to near future/ zombie games.

Would be a lot cheaper than the metal  alternatives, better for conversions (use any spare heads for standards), useful
for a multitude of periods, and lighter for herd multi-bases.

I am sure I have seen a plastic sprue of Europeon animals either here or on Facebook... someone is doing them, but I cannot remember who it is (it's certainly not the Perrys).

The last ones (plastic that is) I remember were Airfix!
Zoo animals (set 1 & set 2) and about half the Tarzan set.  They, along with copious boxes of Robin Hood
provided most of my early WRG armies, but that was many moons ago and 20mm.

Pegasus miniatures have a farm animals box.
They are labelled in 1/48 but are usefull for 28mm as long as their izba houses more suitable for 28mm than 20mm.

Great Escape is selling that box.
