Jade Pagoda
« on: March 25, 2018, 03:50:57 AM »
I recently found a new resin pagoda for my Pulp and BOB boards and thought that I should bring it to the membership's attention. It is a five tier pagoda so maybe not good enough for some of you purists out there. Still if it is good enough for Fu Manchu it should be good enough for you  lol I hadn't seen it before and got in a bidding war on ebay where some fellow sniped it on me. Bummed, I typed the description in to to search on evilbay and found that this was not a wargame piece and bought it for less than half the price I bid :D It turns out that this is a display piece meant to have one of those little tea lights/fairy lights flickering inside it. It is sold by a decorator outfit called Grasslands Road. This is what it looks like when you receive it.

Here I have cut and patched the portal for the tea light with cork, bad feng shui don't you know? I later spackled and sand it down.

Here is a pic painted up in pale green with a darker green door surround

Finally here is a pic of the pagoda in Fu Manchu's garden.

I am aware that my photography skills need improvement! Hope you enjoy, comments and critiques always welcome.

That's a nice find, and will fit in well.

I do like your monks though, they are very well painted.  :o
