Problem will be that it's so big that it needs a shed load of detailling. I still need to do the wing rooves and the other turret basic structure. I just wanted to get the dome started as it was the main part missing.

Bloody impressive! The ball peen hammer on the table looks a bit ominous though.

Some of the joins are a touch tight and the little hammer (its only a baby) is for encouraging them to fit.

Just having a wee look again.....is your dome going to work? Should it not be built on a semi circle as opposed to a rectangle?

If you look at the picture on page 1 the dome wasn't round, more sort of a curved greenhouse on a square base.

I'll post my research pics later. Yes its a squared off dome not a hemisphere

problem will be ti make it look right without being too fragile
