I found these models on my lead pile. I vaguely remember a pretty funny KS simply called Balks where they could be from. The paintjob was pretty fast. After a zenithal shading I used contrast paint, picked out derails, did the eyes and played around with the blood effect.

They’ll either be warbeasts or cavalry in Dragon Rampant and with six models, I’ve got a full unit!

I imagine them to be a bit like the Blob, maybe I’ll try to go on one for more slime effects, not sure, yet. They are added to the already relatively large Nurgle host since they really don’t fit to other Chaos Gods imo.

That’s actually a good idea. I’m at the moment experimenting with slime demons and had some interesting results by playing with various contrast paints.

Hehe, that’s totally right! Poor adventurers stumbling into a slime. Maybe even one that can grow? I still got six more of those!

After having assembled a decent sized Nurgle army, I need an opponent. And who would fit better than the Blood God?

Here is another awesome model fromthe Trudvang game by CMON. It’s some kind of giant or troll or giant-troll. Honestly, I could not care less. When I saw it, it was immediately crystal clear to me that this brawler would be a nice centerpiece for a Khorne army.

I went a little crazy with my color choices; green highlighted to blue for the skin, red for the Bronze, yellow for gold and Bronze ornaments and green for the hair.
 
I want to pick a few highlights and details over the week, but already now, I am really impressed by the sculpt. Truly a fallen giant!

Of course, the Butcher! That’ll be his name for now. He may not look like the one in Diablo, but he’s certainly doing that job in the armies of Khorne!

I know, I know, I should continue grinding through my Khorne warband so that Papa Nurgle has something to stomp.

But then I saw this stunning model made by Varus Miniatures and was lost! This is one of the best Slaanesh champions I’ve ever seen - 28mm options included.

I have a few other models for Daemonettes - I’ll proxy them with ice witches from Demonworld and my plan is to get some of those Demonworld goblins and Splintered Light Dark Elves to swell the ranks. What I am really missing, though, in 15mm are Slaaneshi Chaos Warriors and Beastmen.

Maybe one of the many 3d artists will hear my call or the LAF hivemond can point me into the right direction?!
