Copplestone's sculpts brilliant as usual, with wonderful paintbrush, but I am also very fond of the ideas and the production of the Oasis of death.

Both excellent, hard choice. If I have difficulty deciding I usually ask myself, 'which would I want in my collection'
This time the answer is...both!

Darn. And I was so pleased with my Copplestone barbarians last year! Puts them to shame. I'd love it if you could post a step-by-step, especially for the cloaks.

Hard choice here, very hard choice. Might have to come back to it later in the week I think.

Beautifully painted barbarians in a great setting plus a crisp photo, that's what the LPL is all about (for me at least). And then the Baluchi zombie camelriders, again fantastic painting, a great setup and picture.

Hard to decide ... Congrats to both of you!  :-*

Excellent entry Keith, cold vs. hot ;)
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

What a match up.  :)
Both outstanding in painting and composition.
Wonderful job on those 15mm barbarians Keith. I’ve recently painted the same figures and they are little gems. You have executed them brilliantly. The snow and the set up of the picture is great.
Matt, as ever, with minimal props, you have managed to evoke a distinctive sense of place and set up an intriguing story - who are these strange undead creatures? Where are they wandering to? And why? The dunes provide such a pleasing depth the scene.
Exceptionally difficult to decide which way to vote.

Immensely difficult choice. The dunes, that's just ordinary sand poured to the right shape, right?

Really tricky one - do I choose 15mm barbarians (which I love)?! Or desert fantasy (which I love)?! You’ve both done cracking jobs here.

It's just fabric, draped over my normal green hills. Same fabric used in Pig Tickler last round ;)

I don't as of yet have a nice set of desert terrain. Someday...

Just remembered how much I regretted not getting those Baluchi Zombies when they were available (Joseph Ochmann, IIRC).  :(
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
