The cavalry are very characterful and charming. Nice colour scheme too. That's a lovely shade of blue. Are they Warfare Miniatures?

Brilliant painting, staging and photography as usual on those Vikings, Jan.

Hi Captain B

The cavalry are Warfare. Very nice figures. I had never painted anything from that period before but LPL provided the incentive!  I might continue - lots of small skirmish activity during Monmouth rebellion and Ireland. The blue is the Reaper range Soft Blue, which I think makes a nice pre industrial dye colour.

Goliad, I also like the Blue and the miniatures you have chosen! The wars of Louis XIV are so tempting, all the flamboyant uniforms are so cool.
Cheers
