Both very nice!

Love that robot (?) in the background, an up-armoured R2D2? The dome looks familiar...

Dr Mathias - Hinterland? Looks great. Really like that scene.
And are the ruins scratch built or can you point me in the direct of where one can acquire them?

As a teenager I cannibalised my old Palitoy R2D2 and Ig-88 action figures into an Ork dreadnought (R2 body with IG88 legs), so this one brings back many happy memories for me!

Lovely painting as usual from the good Doctor, too. This is gonna be another real close one!

Great idea for the Killa Kan, that's pretty funny. I had a huge Ork army in 3rd edition. Excellent painting as well.

Hinterland? Looks great. Really like that scene.

The hussars are Hinterland, the horses, cannon, and limber are from Askari Miniatures.

The ruins are mostly castings from Hirst Arts "Ruined Fieldstone", although I created a mold with custom blocks matching the Hirst ones to make the rounded edges on top edge of the wall.

Such a vivid and cinematic scene, Blasphemia! Real good photography ...

And another nice Hinterland-scene from Dr Mathias. Matt, you must have a large collection meanwhile ...

Tough call, had to look closely at both of those several times.

Dr Mathias, that's some great painting, setup and photo. Looks like this will be another tough round! My round 3 against Overlord was a draw all the way through; we'll see how this goes.

I made the R2D2 killa kan from my childhood toy. I'm pretty sure my brother and I got it when Phantom Menace came to theatres. I rediscovered it a couple years ago and repurposed it. Some plasticard, a spare shoota and a new paintjob did the trick.  :D

Holy cow, somehow I didn't know there was a new LPL going on and only chanced upon this entry in a roundabout way.  As usual, you make Hinterland look great, Dr. Mathias.  Thank you.

Great stuff by Blasphemia (edited to give credit to correct source) as well, although I wish the picture were a tad brighter.

Damn. Twice damned!

I love both entries. The Star Wars touch to the Orcs is so wonderfully rebellious, and I have been a little bit in love with the Hinterland female soldiers since they first appeared (with Sally4th new tramp steamer on the horizon, I even think I may have to put in an order with Hinterland in an overseeable future).

Well, have to make a decision...
