Is it just me or does the cleric look like John Noakes?

Well now I can't unsee it.

Okay, just a few for me, something to chip away at my own lead pile of shame.

First up another Limited Edition Samurai, this time painted in greys and black.

Now more of my Runequest dudes, from the 'Adventurers #2' boxed set. First an excited Baboon in leather cap.

Second a Duck adventurer, with 'movement' rune on shield, showing his allegiance to the Orlanth cult.

And thirdly a Morokanth adventurer, complete with linen armour and old leather cap.

Wonderful! Those RQ adventurers are tremendous - especially great to see that venerable baboon done in such style!

Wow, beautiful painting on those old models! I never really looked at the old Runequest figures (adventuring ducks seemed ridiculous when I was in my teens) but your versions totally have a gritty vibe and look serious as heck.

Your painting really makes these minis shine. So smooth. I've been following this thread for years now and it never fails to be inspirational.

:o The pants on the samurai are amazing!
Love the adventurers, I painted my Morokanth about a month ago, not in the same league as this.
I never thought to do his hat as leather, that looks better than the steel I went for.
You should do videos of your painting process

Jeez, on the day the phrase 'scraping under the wire' was redefined, we sat in awe and watched. Happy Orctober, sorry about the iffy photos but I also have a house full of teenagers having a Halloween party and I'm juggling my responsibilities as host with some panicked desk work.

Wonderful! And amazing work on that belly plate. The skin tones are terrific: they kind of hint at an uncomfortably human origin for these creatures.
