Umtali Station campaign blog

Is the blog of my set of skirmish games set in a hardish sci fi universe using 2 hour war games rules, dwarven forge terrain, about 400 28mm figures and a lot of scenery (every board has a toilet). I've been working on elements of this game for about 10 years. Hope you enjoy.

Welcome

A great series of linked games. I've enjoyed reading through all the posts.

I like the look of the station too.

When is the next episode?

This is fantastic! I just love it.

I've also been amassing a few hundred minis to cover all aspects of a setting, and I hope in 10 years time (I'm very slow) I'll also be blogging how the narrative unfolds in a series of inter-linked games. It is really great to see someone else carrying off a project like that so well!

Thank you very much.  Painting up small factions (5-20) figures allows one to have a lot of variety in painting.  They key thing is having a lot of civilians and accessories- game companies don't tend to focus on those.  Doll house furniture is a good source.
