I really like the dirty Stormtrooper. A few years ago I would have said he was too dirty, but after seeing Rogue One and Solo, there are some really grubby looking Stormtroopers in those films.
You have to remember that in the OT, the troopers we were seeing were the guys assigned areas where Lord Vader and The Emperor themselves were found.
So yeah, they would make sure they were cleaned and polished as a priority.
Troopers assigned places without the Top Brass being around likely have different priorities.

Thanks guys,
small update, finished painting a converted imperial officer bit small for legion as she's 28mm, but I bought and converted her before I started with Legion

also started painting the 2nd squad of Rebels, here's a Rodian ion gunner WIP, skintone is inspired by the Rodian from Solo, more of a yellowish brown rather than green

And lastly started converting Han Solo, the FFG version isn't great so I figured I might as well convert him into Old Man Han from TFA,
still have some greenstuff work to do mostly add his holster and clean up the collar of the jacket

How do your conversions scale up with legion or imperial assault

the imperial officer is a bit small for legion but would be fine for Imperial Assault, everything else is based on Legion minis to begin with, so fits great with Legion but is too large for anything 28mm sized

LTR: Imperial Assault, Crooked Dice, Legion

It's been a while but I have a few more minis painted, and I guess I forgot to update this thread, so  first of all a few you might have already seen in one of my recent  LPL entries

and a better look at my converted the Force Awakens Han and Chewie

Jyn Erso

And a few more Rebels

And lastly a Hasslefree not Fin, primer was a bit rough but it's not as noticeable in the flesh
