« on: May 19, 2009, 09:03:52 AM »
Just realised i never posted this here,
sorry if this is old for some of you :)
Repainted Corgi diecast, tried giving it a worn look, have to go back and dirty up the stars and rotor a bit more
Crew is TAG and baker co
The red and yellow thingy is the electric strawberry, showing it belongs to the 25th inf divison
hope it looks right :)
and for the record, the canopy isn't glued in place yet

Greetings

Nice. Very nice indeed. You answered my not-yet-posted question about the TAG crew, whether they would fit into diecast or not. Have you been reading minds lately ? :D

Now one more reason to tackle my Nam-project

they do not fit well in this one, seats are a bit too slim, baker co fit better for this one, but still needed some cutting
TAG's pilots are perfect for the 1/48 huey's from revell & italeri kits tho, even better than the pilots that are included.

and thanks, i hope to finish a few more choppers soon, while waiting for the FNG:"Got Them Air Cav Blues scenariobook :)

Very nice, good amount of dirt on there.

We're halfway through a tour of FNG here, playing a campaign turn or two a week.  The Cobra is a bit of a game swinger, just don't loiter, attack runs are the way.  :)

Always a pleasure to see your good works Col.

Peabody out.
