Nice work, must admit I hadn’t seen the figure before but bags of character.

Also I suspect that you spent longer on the base for that mini, than I do actually painting some of mine  :D

Appreciate it! I have to admit I don't have an aim right now... I have several projects that are in differing states of completion... but I'm having fun painting a lot of guys that I've been wanting to paint for a long time... and they can always fit in a warband somewhere ... so it's not for not...here we have a work in progress kelt of the drune clan... "Formor Fiend"....
.

Great job on the formor fiend. Drunes are my favorites, besides the alchemists.

Appreciate that! Finished up his brothers... tho I think a proper name for them should be "the brothers grim"!...

More great work … this thread is such an inspiration for all those Rackham miniatures languishing in my lead pile.

Did you use Contrast paints for the metal parts? Looks quite effective.

the metal is contrast basilicum grey, then army painter dry rust dry brushed, then agrax earthshade wash, then highlighted with Reaper sky grey.... so, not just contrast paint... but i've been finding formulas like this using contrast as a base that has a very nice result....
