These little Dwarven crossbow guys don't get much love in the world of Confrontation, but I have always thought they have a lot of character given their "compact" nature, so I wanted to do these little sculpts some justice...

The Dwarves of Tir-Na-Bor as of now...

I can see why the dwarves don't get the love - they look like little plush toys or something lol But nice brush work. And that Formor champion would be a great basis for a Balrog conversion! (Did a Google search - he's around €14 and his name is "Balkron" lol).

Lovely paint jobs, but WTF is going on with those dwarf sculpts...”compact”....they don’t appear to have a torso, just heads and limbs  lol  ;)

Rackham's first foray into dwarves was in '97... these are from 97... they made tiny little compact figures that weren't that popular and they changed the style to the one I painted previously... I've taken a liking to these weird little creatures and will be painting most of the sculpts this year along with other stuff of course.

More Orcs!... I did a sample from 3 different blisters... there is 1 Orc Warrior, 1 Orc Bruiser, and 1 Jackal Warrior... Working on some undead Acheron centaurs next...

Nice work, I particularly like the effort you’ve gone to on the weapons...normally an area I skip over as quickly as possible.

 :)

Appreciate it... on the confrontation forum i'm on it's the main objective of the mini. They spend most of their time making the NMM look fantastic on the swords and weapons... i'm no where near what they do... but try to do more then just metallic silver... my main objective is a good tabletop standard... these are to play with, not to sit on a plinth!

they work for me too, in the 'Rackham' world view.

latest orcs are great - figures and painting.

The permeating filth from the Ram army of Acheron have made their way onto the paint table.... Here we have an undead centaur bowman.....

what a brilliant figure - you've brought out its baleful qualities very well - particularly the eye!

"The men manning the walls wrapped their faces with rags to try to filter the permeating stench that surrounds the rotting filth from Acheron that continue to march on the fortress... to no avail the smell overwhelms and they vomit where they stand" -La Faille de Kaiber

2 more undead centaurs: 1 heavy centaur of Acheron and Sephiroth the Reaper

They are joined by a heavy centaur that I painted a year ago... I like the newer paint scheme more, so I might update the older paint job a bit later...

The bases are a scorched earth covered in a filthy dust... the lore of the kingdom of Acheron talks about a constant swirling black dust of rotting flesh that covers the ground and fills the air... so everywhere this army marches it follows them. Glad you like!
